Providing inspiration and hope to Australia's indigenous and disadvantaged children through the magic of music

From the PRESS RELEASE:
Dueting it for the Kids is a unique annual concert unlike anything else staged in Australia. This event brings together the cream of the recording and concert industry – both legends and newcomers – in a concert of duets with proceeds going to The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF). All funds raised at this event go towards music programs that the ACMF run for disadvantaged, Indigenous, multi-cultural and isolated schools, Juvenile Justice centres and schools devastated by natural disaster across Australia.

Philip Quast & Marina PriorAt the concert Philip Quast and Marina Prior performed the emotional duet 'How Could I Ever Know' from The Secret Garden. Even though Philip & Marina were both part of the 1995 Australian production of this musical, this year's Dueting concert gave them the unique opportunity to sing this particular number together for the first time, as in the Australian production Marina sung this song opposite Anthony Warlow - while Philip played the role of doctor Neville Craven.

info The Australian Children Music Foundation was established in 2002 by Don Spencer OAM in response to the fact that over 75% of public schools in Australia no longer have a specialty music teacher.

Each week, our incredible teachers provide music education for children who, in many cases, have suffered severe physical and emotional abuse almost impossible to comprehend. Through music we bring joy, enhance imagination and creativity and give these children the chance to dream.
