new According to a rare online report, the cast of Mary Poppins performed Elton John's 'Circle of Life' (from Lion King) at the end of the concert, while Philip Quast gave a passionate rendition of 'Happy Anniversary', a Charles Aznavour song from his Live at the Donmar album.

OSCEFA is dedicated to mobilising the unique talents within the media, entertainment and arts industries to mitigate the suffering of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS throughout Australia and around the world. Over the past eleven years OSCEFA has raised over 650,000 AUD through its support of the Victorian AIDS Council and a host of other organizations. The annual Hats Off concerts have played a major part in achieving this goal.

info The David Williams Fund (DWF) provides support to improve the financial, health and emotional well-being of the Victorian HIV positive community. The DWF was established in 1986 by donations of the friends and family of David Williams after witnessing his untimely death from AIDS.

The wonderful thing about this concert is if you ring up a mate and he or she is available, then you get a ‘yes’. Everyone wants to do it so the egos are left somewhere else. Listing alphabetically equalizes everyone.

John O'May, director of the event
