Set in our very own backyard, The Caterpillar Wish was filmed on location in the coastal town of Robe. It is the perfect backdrop to play out this coming of age story about 17-year-old Emily (brilliantly played by new comer, Victoria Thaine) and her search for the father she never knew.
This mystery, which is something her mother, Susan (never better Susie Porter) is unwilling to shed light on and their unconventional relationship is the heart of this story. Emily begins taking secret photographs of all the local males in the area, convinced that her father is one of them and searches for any resemblance of herself within them.
