CLUBLAND

Clubland is an enjoyable Australian drama that should strike a chord with dominated mummy's boys everywhere. Khan Crittenden stars as 21–year–old Tim Dwight, who lives at home with his disabled brother, Mark (Richard Wilson) and is still a virgin, thanks to his larger–than–life mother, Jean (Brenda Blethyn), who has successfully sabotaged all his previous relationships. However, when Tim meets and falls for Jill (Emma Booth), he decides that the time has finally come to stand up for himself. Meanwhile, Jean is still chasing the big–time as an entertainer, having abandoned a promising career 25 years ago when she emigrated to Australia to have children.
