Saw Clubland last night. Its good, much laughter coming from the audience. I think the edition we saw, must have been an early one. There was one or two odd things like the date appearing in the right hand corner, and some very odd camera shots or editing. Some blurry imgaes that did not seem to fit!
Cast are good. A very ozzy comedy, PQ doesn't have a very big role as most of it is centred around the 4 main characters. PQ makes the most of his bit and I have to admit it does show his skills. He still stands out, but yet does not overshadow anyone.
I would love to know if the actor playing Mark the younger son who is disabled in the film is really disabled in real life. He is so good and in my book deserves an award for his playing of the part. I have worked in the past with disabled students like him and he is so true to life.
Worth going to, and you might even catch a glimpse of PQ dancing!!!
