There's only one Jeannie Dwight, but that's plenty for the folks around her, thankyouverymuch.
Jeannie is an English comedian who might have been a star back in the '70s but for the fact that she met a singer named John, fell for his brand of woo and moved back with him to his native Australia to follow their twin dream of show-biz glory.
Well, it didn't quite work out according to plan. Oh, Jeannie still performs her bawdy, brassy brand of comic stylings. But she does so in little casinos and nightclubs outside of Sydney, where she works a day job as a cafeteria cook. She and John had two handsome sons: Tim and Mark, the latter of whom never quite fully developed mentally after a complicated birth. But the couple have long since split up (he fills the vast holes in his singing career with a gig as a security guard), and John leads the long list of former friends and loved ones the mere mention of whom makes Jeannie's bilious blood boil.
