Mary Poppins umbrellared into Sydney at the Capitol Theatre for a ‘Super’ opening night performance that saw the entire audience rise as one at it’s rousing conclusion, to enthusiastically demonstrate their appreciation for a show that is more than just ‘Practically Perfect’.
Mary Poppins, the Sydney production, had us spellbound from beginning to end. This musical is being hailed by theatre critic royalty as likely the very best production of the show in the world.
The entire cast managed to ‘Step in Time’ with ‘Precision and Order’ throughout the magical performance filled with all the joy that is, Mary Poppins. This is not just ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’ style musical for the kids it will delight across every demographic. ‘Anything Can Happen’ in Mary Poppins and it does – but we are not going to give away the extra special theatrics here – you need to see them for yourselves.
