One of my particular favorites of a personal nature in the TAC concert is when Colm W. slaps Philip Quast on the knee as if to say (go get 'em Tiger), and then after the magnificent performance of Stars is over Michael Ball pats his arm as if to say it was a jobe well done. The camaraderie between those three performers was a joy to behold.
My other favorite is the Suicide scene. Never had I seen so much emotion played out on one performers face. To quote my edition of Les Misérables.:
"He felt that he that was emptied, useless, broken off from his past life, destitute, dissolved. Authority was dead in him. He had no further reason for existence. Terrible situation! to me moved. To be granite, and to doubt, to be the statue of penalty cast in a single piece in the mould of the law, and to suddenly perceive that you have under your breast of bronze something preposterous and disobedient which almost resembles a heart ."
All of the anguish Javert is experiencing is there in that face, in those eyes, for the audience to see.
