A quaint comedy full of absurd, sometimes even black, humour. It speaks about how to realize one's dreams without ever leaving home. An old man, Allan Penney has to bear not only the inconveniences of old age, but also affronts of his former business partner and his uncaring wife, Diana. The woman, who is younger than her husband, puts him in a rest house and light-heartedly sets out for a journey around the world. His elder son, who is in financial trouble, tries to winkle the bank account number out of his father. In order to make the father feel better, he and his younger brother take Allan back home. They cannot afford to realize their father's all-life dream to travel around the world, so they decide to put the entire world in his garden. They create exotic stage designs, props and costumes only to offer him his private journey and to show him the charms of all those places he wanted to see: Hawaii, Las Vegas, Rome or Tokyo. They receive help from a sexy nurse, Ophelia Cox (Gosia Dobrowolska). There are some really unforgettable and extremely funny scenes with Philip Quast (who plays the elder brother) disguised as a Hawaiian dancer, Elvis Presley, airplane pilot or Japanese geisha. It's an amusing comedy about the power of fiction, dreams and illusions.
