Political drama is back on the London stage with a vengeance as audiences pack the 1,200-seat Olivier Theatre every night this week for Sir David Hare's version of the build-up to the war in Iraq.
However, the viewers are divided on its intellectual impact.
Stuff Happens, a title lifted from Donald Rumsfeld's response
to the looting in Baghdad, is Sir David's follow-up to Via Dolorosa,
his experience of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and The Permanent Way, about the privatisation of the railways.
